The Public Schools of Petoskey is located in a rural community in Northwest Lower Michigan.  The city of Petoskey has a population of 5,810.  The Public Schools of Petoskey covers the city of Petoskey and many rural townships.  Petoskey is on Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay in Emmet County.

Options for Earning College Credit

Early College Program

North Central Now is an Early College  program for high school students in the Northern Michigan region which allows students to receive both their high school diploma and associate’s degree after their fifth year of high school.  Students complete their courses at their home high school and at North Central Michigan College.  

Dual Enrollment

Students at Petoskey High School are eligible to dual enroll in courses. Majority enroll at the local community college in Petoskey, North Central Michigan College.
