Handbooks
The student handbook's are not intended to be all-encompassing, and do not create a contract between the school and parents or students. School officials may revise the handbook to implement the school’s education program and ensure student wellbeing.
School officials are responsible for interpreting the handbook and, if the handbook does not address a specific situation, school officials will make decisions based on staff discretion, applicable board policies and administrative guidelines, and state and federal statutes and regulations, consistent with the school’s best interests.
